Juneau Construction is one of four contractors short-listed to provide pricing of the design development documents for the Cherokee County Aquatic Center. The project is located on a 37 acre site of which approximaltely 9 acres will be developed. The site will feature new utilities, asphalt drives / parking, and extensive hardscapes. A new 48,000 sf aquatic center will be constructed and will house an olympic sized swimming pool and a 4x lane therapy pool. Outside, there will be a free-form leisure pool with extensive water play features. The buiding structure will be primarily concrete and steel with a masonry and metal panale skin, a metal and membrane roofing, and extensive use of glass storefront.
