Superintendent
15+ years of experience in the construction industry required. Job duties include a shared responsibility in ensuring that schedule, quality, safety and cost expectations of a
project are met or exceeded on the jobsite. May also represent the company as the onsite supervisor.
Project Manager
10+ years of experience in the construction industry and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related discipline required. Job duties include overall project administration
responsibility from preconstruction through close-out. Primary focus is to ensure that all corporate goals are achieved while developing lasting relationships with clients.
Assistant Superintendent
Entry-level position; college graduate interested in working in field operations. Job duties include a shared responsibility in ensuring that schedule, quality, safety and cost
expectations of a project are met or exceeded on the jobsite. May represent the company as the onsite supervisor.
Construction Engineer
Entry-level position; college graduate interested in working in project management. Job duties include assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with the overall management
of project execution with emphasis on coordination of work, procurement and expedition of subcontractors/suppliers, and the identification and resolution of design drawing conflicts.
Participates in the preconstruction effort including estimating and purchasing.
Business Development Manager
5-10 years of experience, preferably in the Construction industry and a Bachelor’s degree required. Job duties include leading the BD strategy, preparing the team for formal presentations/interviews,
oversight of the Marketing department, leading BD meetings, preparation of BD portion of Strategic Plan and departmental budget.
Intern – Corporate Office
Juneau Construction Company offers great internships for college students interested in Building Construction. We prefer interns to be in their Junior/Senior year. Primary roles
for our interns include providing assistance to project teams (both Office and Field), the preconstruction department and the business development/marketing department. Interns
will learn and assist with a variety of tasks in each area.
Benefits Outline for Salaried Employees
Medical
Choice of Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO or HMO. Juneau pays 100% of employee's premium at the HMO rate and 50% of any additional coverage purchased. Available after 30 days of employment.
Dental
MetLife dental insurance can be purchased at employee's expense.
Retirement
401(k) plan. Juneau Construction matches $0.60 / $1.00 on the initial 6% of salary.
Life Insurance
$25,000 Prudential coverage for all employees. Additional Life Insurance can be purchased at employee's expense.
Disability Insurance
Short and Long Term disability coverage provided by the company.
Vacation
Two weeks per year accrued at a rate of 6.6 hours per month. Increases to 10 hours per month (3 weeks per year) after 5 years of employment.
Bonus Program
Eligible after six months of service and based on company profitability and individual performance.
Project Performance Bonus Program
Individual project team members are rewarded if certain project goals are met.
Education Assistance
