University of North Carolina Charlotte - Phase X Residence Hall
Designed by Clark Nexsen of Charlotte, the 178,000-sf, 400-bed residence facility will include lounge/study rooms, laundry facilities, and multi-purpose rooms. The building site will provide ADA compliant parking as well as areas for service related vehicles. The building exterior will utilize brick and precast concrete to blend with the existing campus architecture. This project is designed to meet LEED certification. The project is currently in pre-construction with a tentative start date of November 2011.
