What led you to the construction industry?
I always enjoyed working construction in high school and summer jobs. I told Big
8 Accounting recruiters that my 5-10 year goal was to get involved in construction
in some form or fashion (controller, part owner, side business, etc.).
What is it about your job that inspires you?
My inspirations in construction are the clients and projects with a story. Sheltering
Arms is one of my favorite clients because of what our projects allowed them to
deliver. The heart-felt testimonies by parents at the ribbon cuttings were very
moving. I was proud to be a part of what Sheltering Arms did for those families
and their communities.
Why has Juneau been such a perfect fit for you?
In my search, I looked for a medium-sized company that was family oriented, worked
together, played together and wanted to provide a quality product. That is exactly
what I found in Juneau.
Hobbies
I love being involved with my children and their activities, saltwater fishing,
backpacking/camping and Boy Scouts.
