What led you to the construction industry?
By chance honestly, with my Payroll, Payroll Taxes and Benefit Administration background
I sent my resume to a recruiter, who was looking for a candidate for a construction
company. After my initial interview with the company, I was very intrigued. Nancy
was the Keynote Speaker for the Visionary Award for NAWIC 2005, in her speech she
credited the beginning of her success to “being in the right place at the right
time.” I believe that is how I was led to the construction industry.
What is it about your job that inspires you?
In HR, I have the unique opportunity to interact with so many different people and
on many different levels. The aspect of this work that is inspiring to me is that
I know that I can help others in a way that has a significant impact on their professional
lives.
Why has Juneau been such a perfect fit for you?
This company is filled with people who love what they do and love being a part of
a great vision. If you are surrounded by people who have the ability to translate
their passion in such a way you then share their passion, it creates an environment
that nurtures your unidentified abilities and transforms into a vision that guides
us all to achieving our goals.
