What led you to the construction industry?
My major was education, but the career path I followed after graduating from UGA
led to employment with engineering, construction and architectural firms, where
I worked in marketing and business development. My first job was with a structural
engineering firm in St. Louis. I knew from that point on that I loved this industry
and would stay in it for as long as I’m able to work!
What is it about your job that inspires you?
One of the major challenges and inspirations of my job as CEO is keeping good work
coming in so that we grow as a company. I would also say that the overall experience
we provide clients and seeing that they are completely happy and satisfied with
the project and services we provided them is a tremendous inspiration for me.
Why has Juneau been such a perfect fit for you?
Well, other than the name on the sign (laughs), I would have to say that I simply
love the construction industry, facing challenges and meeting them, going above
and beyond in everything we do. It’s exciting and highly rewarding work. I couldn’t
imagine doing anything else.
