The Go Fish Visitor Center and Fish Hatchery is intended to promote awareness of
and increase fishing opportunities within the state of Georgia. The center is located
on approximately 100 acres on the grounds of the Georgia National Fairgrounds. The
project components include an approximately 15,000sf visitor center with extensive
exhibits including live fish exhibits; related sitework including entrance road,
parking, utilities, and fishing ponds; a working fish hatchery with office and work
space; a maintenance complex; two staff residences; nature trails; a picnic pavilion,
and 40 acres of fish production ponds.
LEED Designation: The Go Fish Visitor Center will be LEED certified.
