This project is one of the largest child development centers in the Southeast with
a total of 32 classrooms and the capacity to monitor up to 460 children. This facility
also has a 6,200sf multi-purpose room that seats more than 450 people and includes
a full-service kitchen equipped for hot lunches or special events. This building
has the most advanced technology of its kind. Parents are able to go online, and
through a closed-circuit television system, are able to view a live feed of their
child and the environment. The exterior is a combination of brick and stucco with
colored glazed blocks and cone shaped columns as accents. Structure consists of
structural steel on shallow spread footings with concrete slabs in metal decking
at mezzanines.
