South Fulton County Program

Description per Building: Design/Build format for four 24,500sf early childhood education centers in South Fulton County. Each are comprised of 16 classrooms and related support spaces, full service kitchen and extensive playgrounds with related equipment.

Norcross Program

This 14,000sf interior build-out includes 7 classrooms with associated support areas, offices, and a kitchen. The Boys and Girls Club occupies the upper level of the building, which Sheltering Arms is housed on the lower level. Construction included new MEP systems, gyp walls and ceilings, and plastic laminate millwork with post-formed tops. Finishes include paint, wallcovering, carpet and VCT, accented by varying patterns and colors.

Sheltering Arms at International Village

New construction of a 17,000sf, one-story child development facility including 12 classrooms, administrative offices, a full service kitchen, meeting rooms and playground. Building materials consisted of steel, masonry and EIFS. Construction was completed in a 16-week schedule.

Douglasville Program

This one-story, 26,000 square foot child development center includes 18 classrooms, administrative offices, full service kitchen, meeting rooms and secure playground areas. Both Sheltering Arms and Head Start will occupy this facility. The structure consists of load-bearing metal stud walls with wood trusses. Split face CMU highlights the exterior along with stucco.
