This project is part of the Carver community, which had several phases that included
single family homes, apartments, condos and this independent living apartment building
for seniors. Construction of the apartment homes was a total of 101,000 square feet
with 90 separate living units and more than 22,000 square feet of common space that
facilitates recreation activities and health care needs.
The building is 4/5 story split building with a brick veneer up to the 2nd floor
level and Hardi-siding from the brick up to the soffit. A 7,000 square foot Post
Tension Slab spans the terrace level to the first floor. The building is a wood
framed building with wood floor and roof trusses and CMU shafts walls forming the
2 elevators and stair ways up to the roof deck. The interior finishes includes a
separate color scheme on each floor with a trim package of crown molding, chair
rail and 8" base thru-out all the common areas, the flooring in the building is
a mix of ceramic tile, wood flooring, carpet and VCT in the maintenance rooms. This
site is privacy fenced and includes a gated entry, the site scapes includes numerous
walking trails with seating, a gazebo, garden area and cook area for outside grilling.
